Let's see...remember the air card that was supposed to give me broadband access?  It won't work. I spent ALL DAY Saturday at Best Buy.  The Geeks did everything known to mankind (Geekkind?) to get it to work and , NO JOY!  So not only am I still stuck on the dark side of the moon,  I lost a day and a half writing time. GRRRRRRRRRRR!

But, I will prevail.  I am at 43K, I should hit 44 tomorrow and 45 at least on Turkey Day.  It will be PB&J Day for yours truly.   I can't afford the turkey coma.  But my 50k will be finished by Sunday evening at the latest.  Thank you, thank you!  My story will not be finished But I will be better than half way through my first draft so "Yea Me!!"

Coming soon to my get Bit by My Free Reads Section:  an in depth interview with budding new author,  Lillian Grant.  I putting on the secure site because i don't want to have to edit for content. :)

What time?  Tom time!  I added another chapter to Tom's Story last night.  So Take a break from NaNo and go read chapter 9.  Heh, if I had time to write it, you have time to read it.  Consider it a gift for all the hard work you have put in this week.  Click the Get Bit by My Free Reads link on my homepage to get redirected to my secure site.

I've been a busy little bee and have written 9505 words as of last night and expect to hit 11,200 before bedtime.  (If I get out of this blog and get to writing!)

For all my Tom fans out there, a new chapter has just been posted to his saga.  Chapter 5 is up and awaiting your reading pleasure, and a day early I might add. 
It's beginning to look like this will be a novella before I have him all caught up to the present, and that's with me just hitting the highlights.  Maybe I should have aimed for a page for each year of his life, which would be...177?  Oh well, it will be as long as it takes.  Besides, you want to read more don't you?

While you're poking around for things to read, hop on over the Some Write it Hot and read Ali Katz post on  a writer's "Voice."  Without voice a work falls flat, it's hard to describe and Ali does and excellent job of it.
