What a DAY! 12/02/2011
 
It started when I got up.  It was pitch day at Savvy Authors and I planned to do just that.  Problem was, I wasn't sure I could before I left for work at 7:30.  Luckily for me, they are set to Eastern Standard Time.  Yippee!  I sent it in...all 25 words.  Now I have to wait a week to find out if she is interested.

On the subject of waiting...it's been 4 weeks since I subbed my urban fantasy to the latest publisher.  I will assume not hearing anything yet is good.  Yeah, that's the ticket!

It was a long and BUSY day at work.  I swear from 3:00 to 5:00p.m. they must have been dropping people in from the sky!  So, of course I was late getting home and scrambled when I got here to get the animals fed.  DUH, right?

Well, I had my OSM about 15 minutes ago.  I'm being interviewed today by D.A. Kentner on his blog.  And, the day was pretty much over.  Eek!  So I scurried on over to see if I had missed anything.

After last weeks horrible snow and arctic temperatures, Spring seems to have arrived.  Deep down I know we will have one more bought with Old Man Winter, but for now, I am enjoying out 70 degree days and 50 degree nights and the reduced electric bill I hope to receive as a result.

I found out one thing about the American public when the winter storms hit, its not just milk and bread they head to get.  Our shelves at the library were as bare as the supermarket shelves!  In one day we checked out almost 1500 books and DVDs!  That was just our branch!
Main and two other branches had even higher counts.  So listen up publishers, the written word is NOT dead.

As promised my dear friend KevaD's new release Back in the Closet made its debut on Valentine's Day.  It is the sequel to Out of the Closet, unfortunately due to website difficulties I was unable to publish the cover and blurb.  Now that the internet goddess has smiled upon me once again I will remedy that issue post haste.

NO, not me! 

My friend, critique partner and fellow author KevaD.  Well, his Book at any rate.  Out of the Closet published by Noble Romance will release tomorrow Monday September 13th.   This is a must read!  Absolutely hilarious, I was hooked for page one and have been hounding him from a sequel ever since.  So let your fingers fly to the keyboard in the morning and get your copy.  I promise you will not be disappointed.
