Yes, there are lots of things to do in the "Natural State", if you are brave enough, young enough, have money enough. Alas, I am none of the above. For me it's all about the heat, humidity and bugs. I'd rather stay inside. Unfortunately, heat and humidity also causes the grass, and weeds, to grow so I must venture forth on occasion-- try every 3 days. That's how often I must mow. Sigh
So what is this hideous weather good for? Reading! Lots of new books hit the shelves for the summer months. Many of my favorite authors have just had or are having books released in the upcoming weeks. No matter what your favorite genre, there's something new out there. New worlds to explore, some with new friends and some with old ones, all without venturing out into the heat and humidity! Yippee! So check out my links and see which of my writing friends have something to titillate you. For you vampire buffs, Charlaine Harris's Dead in the Family and Laurell K. Hamilton's Bullet are available for your reading pleasure. For July, MaryJanice Davidson's, Undead and Unfinished will hit the shelves.
Stay cool and happy reading!
