Besides writing reviews, I sent in queries and submissions yesterday. That's the business end of writing, letting people know what you've written and hopefully convincing someone it's worth publishing. Then comes the waiting, and trying to remember to breathe. It's stressful, even for the experienced published author. We all have our own way of dealing. My way is humor. Laughing beats crying every time! I'll get there, it takes time (which I have) and patience (which I have not).
On the publishing note, my dear friend and critique partner Lillian Grant got some great news recently. Her publisher, Loose Id, has moved up her release date to September 28th. So everybody mark your calendars for the premier of Happy Birthday Nancy Tobin by Lillian Grant. My copy is already reserved.
